Governors Island Seawall Rehabilitation

The rehabilitation of the Governors Island seawall included the demolition of over 3,500 LF of granite block seawall and replacement with a precast retaining wall and stone revetment as well as over 8,500 LF of repointing and selective rebuilding of a Historic granite block seawall. Post construction restoration included the installation of 24 storm water outfalls, paving of 9,000 LF of perimeter roadways inclusive of curbs and sidewalks as well as the installation of 12,000 LF of fencing.
